Xristopac to W Totola
Up at ~ 7:00, breakfast at the Mi Bandito.
Went downtown to get ice, but could only
grind large of cubes. We bought three bags.
Drew brought some food and Patty brought
some yeast for trans-typing. Many yolies
in Xristopac. Went to the locality 3.3
km. S of Mi Bandito and 2.1 km. along
the road to La Verica. We looked
Bramaliads for about 3 hours and got 2
Chiriges - both from Bramaliad in the same
tree. We only found one big bunch of
Bramaliads - about 25 in one tree. It was
quite wet here. Tree ferns, etc. We
took off at ~ 2:00-2:30 and loaded well
and took the road to Totola just north
of Chirigalapan. We collected for ~ 1½ hours
at 10.3 km. From Hwy. 119. Patty got
one Bseudrenyces caplalicus, and I got one.
This area wasn't real good as it seemed to
have been burned over. We camped in the
van at this locality.
