Dada, D. 1983 Journal 7 Dec. Angels indeed! They were very nice and very good. They cleared the points, set them and checked the gas supply and distributor. They found that not enough gas was getting to the carburetor - a dirty fuel pump. They blew it out, and all was fixed. The car started, and the power we've been missing is back. Relief! We then headed toward X isteppe by way of Idacala, Ilake, Chignahuapan, and Huautla. It is a beautiful drive. Quiet and until just beyond the Idacala / Puebla state line. We stopped 1.9 km. N of the line along Hwy. 119. Chignapa has been gone for years. Many good, moret logs and stumps with snake - no Chignapa. We worked for about 1 1/2 hours and Patty got 2 Pseudoverzaa egoplus in a rotting stump. At dusk we quit and headed for X isteppe. The road (Hwy.130) is very dead now and slow with trucks. We arrived at ~9:15 at the Mi Rancho, got only a sandwich because of the bar, and I took care of the outside. Patty, still recovering from Pope, went to sleep early.
