Dada, D. 1983 Journal 3 Dec. Both localites were along a stream with stands of trees with bromeliads. a few good bromeliads at the first stop (2.5 km), but not a whole lot. Seemed very wet in spots. Some tree ferns. Elev. 1000 . No anoles in ~ one km. At the second locality (2 km?), I found two B. platydyctyla , one very large one under nothing loose in the sun. I've found platydactyla in the exact same spot each of the last two years. No Chiripe. We returned to Cuatlapar, and after at 3:00 we headed toward the Cerro and worked downward. On our down the three of us found 1 B. platydyctyl and 24 B. rufescens. We paid Carlos #1500 pesos for his help. Dinner and stove at Miguel's. 4 Dec. Cuatlapar to Puebla Up early and on the road. Because of our lack of money we were forced to use VISA and get a hotel in Puebla. Not crazy for gasoline. Plan to cash checks tomorrow, Monday. Hotel Colonial - good and reasonable.
