Darla, D. 1983 Journal 29 Nov. Juctla to Coatzacoalcos Up at 7:00 to take Dana to the airport. We almost blew it as there are two airports - one in town and the other ~30 km. west near Ocozautla. We went to the way we first. No did get Dana to his flight in plenty of time. Petty and I then had a late breakfast in the Resonante Cruz Blanca on the west side of Ocozautla. There we found a collection of lizards preserved in jars of alcohol. The woman running the place, Dra. Rodriguez, told me that most of them had been collected in back of the restaurant. Most were snakes with a few lizard and one salamander. It appeared to be a Bolitoglossa reference. We looked around the yard, but it was just dry. We offered to buy the Basiscincus rattatus salamander and a laoelicine lizard for Kurt Schwendt. We also examined Oreolobus fulgidus on a beautiful medium snake, and before we left, Dra. Rodriguez had given us the snake, lizard, and salamander. These specimens should be
