Dada, D. 1983 Journal 28 Nov. find an area which seemed great for salamanders in an area just below the Stotri. Good wet logs and stumps, but no animals. We dept at ~12:30 and headed for Tustla. [illegible] Upon arrival in Tustla, we found a hotel, the Loganji, on the west end of town. A little costly, but nice. We loaded west of town to Beniozbal, the site of the Jerry Holmes jumping salamander. We found good looking cloud forest, but it was real dry. No salamanders as we worked for ~ 1/2 hours into dark. Returned to the hotel to get Dana ready for his flight back the next day. road curves! <-> ~15km Tustla airport + Beniozbal Tustla ~16km.
