from Indian vendors. Very interesting and
fun. At 5:00 we drove west of town
in search of the microwave road. We saw
the microwave, but failed to find the
road. Darkness set in and we turned
to town, got a hotel on the square, had
dinner, and turned in. (Hotel Ciudad Real).

Don Cristobal to Justica
Up at 7:00 and left hotel ~ 8:00.
Drove to the west of town in search
of the microwave road. It was
very foggy and we were landlocked
because we couldn't even see the
microwave station. We asked for
directions several times, but with
confusing results. After an hour
or so of frustration we decided to
drive to a microwave station we
had seen on the east side of Don
Cristobal. The road to this station
turned off of the road up to Tenajapa.
This got us up to ~ 2800m - quite
deja -, but I'm fairly sure this
wasn't the station mentioned in Ted
Paperfuss's note as the site for
collecting B. resplendens + B. lartwigi. Wo
