animal flat lites - maybe a lizard.
Never found A. Alemania, but
found a back road to Huitila.
The road was [illegible] and long.
Dusk was approaching as we gased
at Huitila and headed up Cerro
Mozotal toward Motozintla. We
camped in shade on the road to
Ditepee which runs NW of the
main road about 5 km. before
reaching Motozintla. Not much
traffic, but pretty damp with rain
at ~3:00 A.M.
24 Nov.
Cerro Mozotal - I downsquirm
Up at 7:00, ate, and headed up the
road to Ditepee. This road is
being worked on now and is in good
shape in its newly graded slopes. At
6.7 km. in, we cut down many (~50)
Eraneliade. Found a Bolitoglossa
Franklini in the quiet cre - nothing
else. Left bags and the promise of
peace with an enthusiastic day. Continued
down the road working was [illegible]
with no luck. A rock-slide prevented
us from going very far. Drew look
down toward Huitila and worked a single
