early '60's. There is no plans for
another national museum if the economy
allows. Dr. Cess would be curator of
herpetology. He then drove us around the
university. It is the largest university in the
world - 100,000 students on the main campus.
He also took us to his "favorite place".
This was an area south of the main campus
where the national library and
performing arts center are located. This
is where the new museum will be
located if built. Also here was the
