Dada, D. 1982 Journal Mexico Aug. 28 and on to Tzintzitar . This road loops north of the main road and is pretty bad in places. The map we had doesn't show it correctly ( or so it seemed ). The road took us down, down, down . Much of the land is in corn , low elevation and much cleared - not good collecting places. We did stop once , and after waiting out a short but heavy rain, we drove into the forest ! There was nothing to turn and no roadside, No good. We drove on thru a small town called Aire Libre which seemingly had a factory belching clouds of smoke . The road continued on to Tzintzitar . We got dirty and returned to the hotel to process our animals from La Joya. In the La Joya days we got what appeared to be a fairly albino Ibelli, a melanistic Iguana ( or something else new ), a couple of weird reptiles, a snake which regurgitated a Colorado three green Basilica , and 20 larvae. Want to get the larava and the weird things.
