Dada, D. 1982 Journal Mexico Aug. 22 Left San Francisco airport on Mexicana airlines. Round-trip flight = $390.00. Claudia Zuko took Stan and me to the airport from Berkeley. We left San Fran. at 11:30 A. Had a stop-over in Guadalajara, Mex. Were delayed for mechanical problems for ~ 3 hours. Arrived in Mexico City at about 10:30 A. Rented a Datsun from Budget rent-a-car for about $450.00 for two weeks. Exchanged traveler's checks for a rate of 90 pesos / dollar. Stan and I each charged $200.00 = 18,000 p. Drove east out of Mexico City. Stopped to collect at Rio Frío (4.9 deg. W of R.F.). We got 10 Chiropterotitan (chiroptome?), 11 Pseudoeurycea laprosa, 1 Hyla, 1 Darlotus, and 2 Eumeces. Continued east to Tlaxián between Orizaba and Cordoba. Stayed in the Hotel Burgaulilia just a couple of blocks south of the square. Arrived at ~ 8:00 p. Hotel was 660 p (~$7.00). Aug 23 Breakfast on the square in Tlaxián for 230 pesos (~$2.50). Got ice in Cordoba. Drove to Puerto del Aire. Searchled for about 4 days with little success - only 3 Ilovius. The area appeared fairly
