anks 1956 Journal These figures are time in seconds at which he sang Allrogs delivered from a Willow (?) tree about 15-yds. from first perch, 7+ from second. Allrogs lasted about 3 seconds. Perch 2 Perch 3 Stopped singing silent for several minutes. Reappeared, singing in perch 1, about half way to top of tree! Found his mate feeding quietly on ground between perch 1+2. She went under tree if perch 1 when I approached. Did not see her again. This may be a good pt. to work on. I saw at least 2 songs. Sigs loud, could be recorded, altho background noise is great. 08/5+ Song Sparrow singing by bridge on Michigan Wetland. ♂ by foot bridge further up. ♀ stopped singing. ♂ singing by footbridge another ♂ singing by road bridge. Songs alternating. ♂ by foot didge soon singing violently often. Other male stopped. Saw one by foot bridge, not the other. Both quiet after a few minutes. I squawked by foot bridge ♂ started to sing from near wood bridge, fairly loud.
