0635 R-3 2.3+ gm. Down patches are on crown, mid-thora back, humerus, hand,
+ flank. No difference from last site
R-1 2.3 gm.
Throat dark area of ventral tract shows
dark spotting. Similar to R-3, but
very slight,
1930 R-1 3.9 gm. Dark area of ventral
pteryla extending to stern. Nothing
on leading edge.
R-3 3.8 gm. Very little dark
on throat.
3 June
0640 R-3 3.9-gm. A few dark
spots on flank + thigh.
R-1 4.1 gm. As above.
L-3 1.6- gm. New!
Covered w/ pure white down, whereas in
the others, both this & other nest, it is
grey. Down very heavy + short.
On crown, entire back, humerus +
hand, flank, V shaped patch on
top of head, apex toward front, also some
on occipital part.
1940 R-3 6.3 Flank shows dark
spots. Other feather areas, except
thigh, darker than they were.
R-1 6.2+ As above
L-3 2.1 all white. No
feather tract show.
