0625 R-1 6.7 gm. 8+4 Prim. 2 mm.
All primaries + secondaries well out. Cannot stay
on belly, in proper position, because abdomen is too
large. Some humeral lack, neck, + flank
feathers out, and most on upper ventral tract.
L-1 3.9+ gm. All primaries out,
but less than 1 mm. All tracts except
lower abdominal show dark, but
head has just few spots. No tracts
really "thick" black, mostly many spots.
Stream S. of LSB, Nest V
No change. No adults around. Very likely
deserted.
S. of Naval Research Nest II
No change at 0700, & not at nest.
E of Men's Faculty Club, Nest II
1755 L-1 5.5 gm. All primaries all but
brining 2 or 3 secondaries thru skin, 8+4
prim. about 1 mm. All tracts show very
dark now except lower abdominal and
thigh, the latter just a few black clots.
Tail doesn't show.
R-1 9.1 gm.
Neck, Lack, flank, abdominal, humeral
tracts thru skin. Alula, all prim +
sec. out. 8+4 prim. probably 4 mm. (rule)

All feather tracts, including crown (near) have
most sheaths thru skin. Tried to crawl in
my hand, resting position with head extended,
resting flat on hand.
