Banks 1957 Melospiza melodia 10, 5 April NW Long Wan's Far. Club Found a nest - probably incomplete maybe last years. Close to nest 4 of last year. Also a singing bird close by. E of Wan's Far. Club. Upstream slightly from bridge, a pair, 2 think, acting very disturbed. Stream S of LSB Nest Z Marked 15.0 gm. Prim 18 mm } 1245 hrs. Unmarked 14.1 gm. Prim. 14 mm. Marked - 4 Primaries (1,2,3,5) out of sheaths. Rectrices just barely broken. Some of head not out. Other than that, all feathers out + show light tips + dark feathers. Legs missing. Sits very still in my hand, but active on balance. Gaped when replaced in nest. Unmarked - Quit a few back feathers out, and flank/legs feathers out of sheaths. On wing, only secondary coverts out. 6 April Marked - 14.3 gm. Prim. 20 mm. 9'' (7 +) Prim. still in sheath. Central rectrices out. Few head feathers out, most others are. On left wing, only 9'' prim in yet. Have several protest notes in my hand, Unmarked - 13.4 gm. Prim. 17 mm. Most back upper wing feathers out, - flank ventral feathers out (both sides). 2,3,5,7 primaries out. 0645 hrs.
