Banks 1956 Mlosyga melodia 36. 21 May WLSB West V - Three eggs this morning, no sign of adults. 22 May NW Mona Fac Club, Nest W - Weighed and landed three birds at 17.30 hrs. The birds are very active in my hands, but made no effort to fly away. They didn't like to be held, but sat quietly. By landing they became: R-3 = 5-1 L4 = 5-2 R4 = 5-3 - = 5-4 R2 = 5-5 Not much change from yesterday except that feather development has progressed some. Light stripes on crown and over eyes are beginning to become definite. All defecated in my hand or in the rock. 23 May All birds out of the nest at 07.45. Plants chipping in the area but I didn't see them go into bush as if to feed. West LSB, West V - Flushed & from nest this morning. Still 3 eggs. 28 May 1 young and two eggs this mornin. The young bird appears rather large and 2+ days old, but I didn't take from nest. Will check and weigh later. NW Mona's Fac Club, Area of W - No sign of any birds. Something has mashed down a good bit of the honeysuckle in the area. No chipping adults in area.
