NW Lower Men's Far Club West W - Weighed the birds about 1745 hrs. Eyes are open a little (1/2 mm?) Primaries are out about 1cm except in the smallest + youngest. Saw an animal turn & make a hasty retreat while I was at the nest. Expect to find it destroyed. 17 May Still ok this morning. S LSB along stream - Have been trying to relocate this pair (bad nest X). Yesterday the weeds where X was located were cut. This morning the & was singing and there seemed to be some courtship activities. Possibly their second nest was destroyed.
