MeloSPIa melolcha 19 Ayr, Bean Weis Fae Club, Nest 2 - at 0500 both birds brought food. Neither stayed at nest after feeding. They are periodically disturbed by a Cliff Jay who is gathering food from garbage cans nearby. It has come twice; both times the song sparrows gave their high pitched notes several feet from the nest. Nest visit at 0810; feed and left.; 1 bird. Nest visit at 0813; one bird came and feed, sat on nest to brood & 2 left. During my watch these birds approached nest from same direction, N. downstream, but did not always use the same route for their final approach. 20 Ayr, Arrived at my post behind screen near kitchen at 0735. All quiet. Bird entered general area of nest 0739. Approached nest and another left nest 0740. But to nest, feed, removed fecal sac 0741. Other bird sat in tree until 0742 dropped to stream side. A bird flew into stream at 0745. Broken-tail bird entered area from stream at 0753. At nest 0755. Other bird entered area 0757 and approached nest immediately, but did not actually go to it nor did bird already there leave. Some activity at nest made leaves move at 0801, I couldn't remark. Bird at stream at 0807, holding something white +something green. At nest at 0811. Other bird left as it approached. If it left it was quietly and then the weeds.
