While holding R-1, he turned his head
toward me and gaped. One bird
once before did this, R-1 was quiet.
I interpreted it before as threat - the,
as I recall, it was accompanied by
sound. R-1 was still while doing
this (ie, not active).

Saw a proven young flying, but
not independent. Maybe 2 birds.
Possibly from West N, just a few yards
