Zonotrichia l. nuttalli 84 24 May Edwards Field, West Q (w) 0645 L-1 3.3 gm Feather tracts barely begining R-1 -3.3gm 2 to show along back, still legs. Bancroft, West O Flushed & off 4 eggs. NE corner Oxford Center Found nest in Juniper 4/4 eggs. This is R(w) Edwards Field, West Q (w) (900 L-1 5.0 gm Dark spots on crown and back. Dark streak on arm, 3 spots on humerus faintly on leading edge of wing. Faint spots on thigh. R-1 5.0 gm Spots do not show as well. Bancroft, West P 1910 L-1 20.5 gm. 8th Prim. (9 mm. Crown stripe shows well. Still a rental loss area. All wing feathers but st. 8th gpc are out, + it has cracked coat. Well feathered, but wing sheaths still quite evident. Defecated before weighing. R-3 19.7 gm. 8th Prim. 19.5 mm. Crown stripe not quite as good as on L-1, all wing feathers but left 8th gpc are out. R-1 20.9 gm. 8th Prim. mm. All wing feathers have broken sheaths, but some are barely out. Crown stripe shows very well. Very active. Put all 3 back together in hopes they would stay. Are ready to leave, but are less developed than most at this time.
