Banks 1957 Construction Guatemala 82 23 May Edwards Field Nest Q (4) 0730 In "Quince" trees on E side of field, N of blackberries, found nest with 1 freshly hatched young, 3 eggs. Young still has down matted, weight 2.5 gm. Marked R-1. Nest is 9 1/2 ft up, +7 to have to boost up on a ledge or wall to get to it. Also a pair of birds around NW corner of this track field. 1905 R-1 3.1 gm. L-1 3.1 gm. Only 1 egg left. Both safe when moved, resume feed under chest portion. Bancroft, Nest P 1920 R-1 21.4 8+9 Prim. 17mm. Rt prim., gpc except 7 are thin sheaths. also all rt sec + sec. coverts. Left prim, left spc 3 ae out. All left sec + sec. coverts. Rectrices + upper tail coverts out. Back well feathered, head stripe beginning to show. Very quiet in hand, began to run as soon as placed on balance. Soon became quiet. R-5 18.3 gm. 8+9 Prim. +1/5mm Rt prim. 1-8, gpc 3, 5, 7 ae out. Left Prim. 2-9, gpc 1, 3 " " Back well feathered, head also but no stripe. L-1 19.0 gm. 8+9 Prim. 16mm. Rectrices + upper tail coverts out.
