Zonotrichia l. nuttallii 10 May 2214 Haste St, Nest h 1930 R-3 15.8 gm. 8th Prim. 9 mm. A few feathers out of sheaths on tractus humerus, mid - lower back, thigh, and throat, many out on ventral tract, tail sheath out < 1 mm. On left wing, 2 outer g.p.c., are out slightly. R-1 15.7 gm. 8th Prim. 8 mm. a few feathers out of sheath on flank, many on ventral tract. None elsewhere. Rests on belly with head shown in. All birds cape when I reach it next nest. tail sheaths barely out. L-3 16.0 gm. 8th Prim. 8 mm. Same as R-1 as feathering goes, but a few feathers out on mid-back and for 2 on thigh. L-1 19.5 gm. 8th Prim. 10.5 mm. Same as R-3, even with 2 gpc out.. Also a couple feathers out on leading edge of wing, show slightly on R-3. Tail 1mm +. Upper tail covert sheaths out, on R-3 & L-1 both. 11 May 6605 L-1 16.7 gm. 8-9th Prim. 12 mm. Outer g.p.c., outer wing out, outer 3 on left wing. 5th left prim., 4,6,7 left g.p.c. slightly thin, as are alulas. Tail almost 3mm. R-1 13.8 gm. 8th Prim. 10 gpm. Ext. alula slightly out. A number of feathers out on mid+ lower back, one on flank, often on thigh. L-3 14.4 gm. Same as R-1 except alula.
