R-1 5.4 gm.) all gaped, all low dark on lumeral tract, a comp spots on flank Barnow Lane, opp. N and Adm Bldg. Flushed bird out of clump of Ceanothus, could not find nest. 3 May Barnow Lane, West K 06 35 L-1 4.8 gm. Primary "lumps" barely discernable where feathers will be, a few dark spots on thigh. L-3 5.3 gm. Wings lumps more prominent, set also indicate secondaries. R-3 5.2 gm. Same as L-3 R-1 5.1 + gm. "" 2214 Haste St., Berkeley, West L at 0600, No change. 4 eggs. Barnow Lane opp. N and Adm Bldg. Found nest with 4 eggs when I flushed bird last night. Call it M. Front (E) of Chinnell Hall, Campus Sawndt saw a pair here last evening late, Today at 0720 flean a bird singing to S, along stream. Saw one bird picking at nest material near S E corner of bldg. NE Corner Track Field A pair here in road between track & baseball fields. One S, singing. Another tilling, so early in season. Flushed one or both from Rosaceae along road. Later they flew to Geraniums along Tennis court.
