A couple abdominal feathers thin sheath, but lately, and no others. Tail sheaths not thin skin, P-4. 16.7 gm. 8⁴ Prm. 9 mm. Speckled for first time when I replaced L-1. Humoral, abdominal, flank, mid- back all have many feathers out of sheath. Tail sheaths out about ½ mm. 28 April 0710 L-1 14.2 gm. 8⁴ Prm. 8 mm. Most abdominal feathers out of sheath, No others. A couple flank lately out. P-1 (7.9 gm.) 8⁷ Prm. 11mm. Pt. Prm. 2+5 are out, many sec. coverts on thinning. Left Prm. 3,4,5,6 are out, few sec. coverts, a few prim. coverts. One head feather. Some on all tracts out, except tail. Alula out. Tail 2mm ±. Defecated before weighing. Holds head up part of time. P-4 15.2 gm. 8¹ Prm. 11mm. Defecated before weighing. Jumped off balance pan. 2 coverts left side, 1 rt. side are out. These are last (<onta) sec. coverts, rare two to be out just on all birds. 1 crown feather. thigh, humeral, back, +abdom. tract all mostly out. Sat always with chin resting on my hands. Bancroft, West K. No change in A.M.
