Zonotrichia l.mittellii 46 23 April Bancroft, Nest D 1815, Nest is destroyed. No sign of the last baby, but parent birds much alarmed. 24 April Bancroft, Nest H 0555 R-4 6.8gm. Primaries out 9-1/4 1mm, gading to [illegible] out. Secondaries bulging shin. Thigh tract shows gas paint dots. L-1 4.9gm. Primaries 9-5 out, but not much. Others just bulging skin, thigh feathers show as a few dots. Abdominal tract dark [illegible] throat area. R-1 7.8gm. Eyes slightly open. Ventral tract dark in throat area to mid-body. Primaries as in R-4, Back + lumens very dark, about ready to come thru. Defecated, new out, 7.6 gm. An adult bird was at or on nest; likewise last mile. Bancroft, Nest K No change 0640. Greenbase Area, Nest I. No change 0645. Corner Unit + Falter N.E. [illegible] at least 1 banded young in company with ad &. & singing in tree above. Presumed nestling from nest F. Banded right leg. Bancroft, Nest H 1805 -1815 R-4 9.1gm. Outer secondaries thin just, inner ones still bumps under skin. All featle areas show dark except tail feathers. 8 +/- Prim. 1mm. only out.
