Inside Edwards Field Nest G
1815 R-1 14.5 gm Prim 17mm,
all primaries + all coverts except 2 on left wing
are out. Head not well feathered. Rectrices
out except central pair.
R-4 (17.5) Prim, 19mm,
sits on feet only, sometimes rests on able.
Back half of head well feathered. Rectrices out
except central pair. Abdomen nearly covered,
much more in center than front or rear.
Jumped from my hand into basket a way
back to nest, but I got it back into nest.
Squealed when jumped, annoyed parents.
R-3 15.2 gm Prim 21
Rear half of head fairly well feathered, all
primaries + coverts out. Rectrices out except
central ones, + they lackly thin. Striping
beginning to show on throat.

Barncroft Nest H
0530 R-1 3.5 gm Down still a little matted on
humerus + back.
R-4 3.6 gm Outto, even more.
L-1 2.4 - gm. Down seems as dry as an
older birds, but is a little matted.
The other egg is not piped.
Barncroft Nest J
0605 R-1 11.9 gm Prim (1)mm.
Several back feathers have come thin,
as well as a large no of abdomen feather.
No wing feathers out, but a few on flank,
wt after defecation, 10.7gm.
