Zonotrichia l. mitalii 39. 20 April Bancroft Nest I. 8.1 gm. Prim. 4mm. No feathers thin R-3 16.6 gm. Prim. 12 mm. a few back feathers out of sheaths, several coverts, prim + sec., out. Not very much change from last evening. L-3 17.5 gm. Prim. 15mm. Pt Prim 2,3,4,5,6,8 are out for lengths, Lt, Prim 1,7 out, 7 faintest fall, Most secondary coverts out. A few crown feathers are thin. All back, flank, thigh, + abdomen feathers out. Sits on ankle + rump. R-3+L-3 clung to nest on removal. Inside Edwards Field, Nest G 0615 R-3 15.5 gm. Prim. 15mm. all Prim or nt, 3-4-5 on left are out. R-4 15.3 gm. Prim. 12 mm. Pt 1st Prim. out, more on left. R-1 12.4 gm. Prim. 10 Left 3+4 Prim. out, very few other wing feathers. 1800. R-1 14.8gm. Prim. 13mm. Feathers out in middle of back, flank, abdomen + humerus, a few on back of head RT 5+9, left 2,3,4 Primaries at. Several secondaries + sec. coverts. Wt after defecation 14.6 gm. Sits on belly + ankles. No grasping of my hands, R-3 14.8 gm. Prim 17mm. Gave protest notes which really alarmed adults. Many feathers on head.
