18 April, 1957. Inside Edward's Field Nest G show light tips, this bird is gaping, + is very active, in contrast to one previous. T-1 (12.6 gm.), after defecation (12.3 gm. Prim., 5-6 mm. No feathers thin, and only a few on back show light tips, All 3 birds cling tightly to nest on removal. Bancroft, Nest J (1800-18' (T-3) (15.0 gm., Prim., 5mm. No feathers thin sheaths, none showing light tips. Very active, squeaking + gaping, L-3 (16.2 gm. Prim., 9 mm. Cling very hard to nest. Extremely active in my hand. Quite a no. of abdominal feathers out, and some on humerus, Later crouched in my hand with neck pulled in, but head down. T-1 (7.0 gm. Eyes not open. Primaries barely thin shrew, perhaps, 5mm. Fairly active, but laid on siding balance, evidently couldn't sit up. Very far behind others. ♀ of this pair has an aluminum band on left leg, ♂ has much stronger, deeper voice, louder, slower chip. 19 April 06.00 L-3 (14.6 gm., Prim., 11 mm.
