Zonotrichia leucophrys 26, 8 April. Inside NW Corner Edwards Field, Nest 6. Still 4 eggs. ♀ still incubating. Flushed a ♂ Brewer's Blackbird from this tangle of vines. It was about 3 ft. from nest 6, but ♀ White Crown was apparently not alarmed. She didn't fly until I was right there in bushes. 9 April Banecraft along 4th. Field Nest C No change at 0600. Still 5 eggs. SE corner Fulton + Univ. Nest F These birds not in nest today at 0645. Probably left yesterday sometime. Inside NW Corner Edwards Field, Nest 6. No change. SE Side Grounds + Blofsg Nest E. No change. I think ♀ was on nest, but am not sure. Very quiet if there. 10 April Banecraft along 4th. Field Nest C No change. Still incubating. Inside NW Corner Edwards Field, Nest 6. No change. But no bird yesterday or today, but saw 1 bird close by. at 1430, No change no bird on nest, but eggs feel slightly warm. Banecraft along 4th. Field Nest C No change a little after 1830. 11 April No change at 0600 today. Inside NW Corner Edwards Field, Nest 6 No change, 0730. ♀ slid off nest quietly while I was still some distance away. Eggs warm.
