Zonotrichia leucophrys 28 March Greenhouse Area, Vest D No change at 5: P.M. 29 March Spade Grounds + Bldg 0650. Three times new bird carrying nest material from Adm. Bldg. to bushes here. It seems to be building a little more than 1/4 of the way from the E end. Barrow Lane, opp. S and Adm bldg. 0700 Saw a quiet bird in small live oak here. Have seen them here before, also. Did not see any activity Beneft along with Field, Upper Sec., Vest A. No change 0800 Same, Center Sec., Vest D No change 0800 Same, Flower Sec., Vest C 4 eggs in this nest at 0805 !!! Lower or Lower Sec Bird acting very disturbed as I looked in bushes. S' partition up from upper pilla on lower end of sec. However, I could find nothing. Along wall here found 3 remigium feathers + 12 contour feather, White Crown? < No. See formal + Robin> SW corner Edwards Field, Abar vitae Under 1 of these trees found piece of egg shell. Looks like white crow eggs. What may be nest is too high to investigate. Yes, is white crown eggs SE corner Faldon (=Orford) + University Pair of birds on sidewalk + hedge. Faint song does not quite seem like nuttalli. Greenhouse Area, Vest B No change.
