Athletic Field Bancroft West A
No change at 7:30 AM.
Bancroft along Ath. Field Lower Sec., Nest C
One egg in this nest today at 7:30 A.M.
25 March
At 7:00 AM today still 1 egg in this nest. Adults don't seem to be around, Deserted?
Farther down in lower section looked in vain for a nest. Did not see a hear any birds here tho,
today. But now that I am way up the line I
see 2 birds which I believe are White Crows in
that area (ie, extreme lower part of lower section.
Bancroft along Ath. Field Center Section
At 7:10 AM formula nest (will call D) near
extreme lower end of this section in Azalea
type plant. The nest is very high about 7 ft.
My arm stretched up reaches just to top, There
are three eggs. The insulation must be
well under way. An adult bird chipped very
frequently in the row of bushes, a sharp
chip, but was not real loud.
Same Upper Sec., Nest A
No change
Dana, along at SE corner Men's Gym
In large double Arborvitae tree I am almost
sure there is a nest. Bird was singing
from top of it. I got inside tree, he moved
to wall very near me & continued singing.
Heard another bird chip a little more some
but could not spot it. Could not find nest. Tree
is very dense along S edge.
S Side Grounds + Bldgs.
Pair of birds. Found what may be beginning
of nest.
