When I flushed him, he flew to top of bldg. and continued singing. After while he flew back into shrub and stopped for a while. I could find no sign of a 2nd near bush - it seems a very inadequate territory tone. Bird singing again now. Bancroft, along 4th Field, Upper Section. A bird on each side of street here, but neither doing anything. Corner opp. Bldg. A Group of white morns here, giving very squeaky notes. May be a small winter's flock, but there may also be a norty pair nearby. Founder's Rock U.C. Campus A singing bird in this little corner. Ideal nesting area.
