They sat up & legged when I touched nest, all but one which seems very weak. All eyes are still closed. The sheaths of the primary feathers are protruding a very little bit, but others are still under skin. All but one active on scales, but not so much so as yesterday. Some of them when handled gave a very weak sound that I could barely hear. It is very high pitched, not loud. 16 May Trinity Church Parking Lot, E. Side - Pair of birds making a fuss when I am in bushes here. Cannot find a nest. One of the birds ( & I think ) was carrying food. There must be young on the ground. This is probably the pair that had Nest D. Those young if alive should be independent so this must be a second brood. Barrow Lane Nest F - Weighed the young about 1730 hrs. Their eyes are open a little shit. Primaries are out in sheaths about 5mm, feathers on back and above legs just barely through skin. Birds are active but mainly quiet on scales. 17 May Weighed these young ones about 1730. Their eyes are definitely open now. They seems active I could hardly keep them on the balance. Plus the fact that the wind was blowing pretty good makes me doubt the accuracy of these weights. However,
