idaho, R.C. 1956 White Crowned Sparrow 13. 28 Mar Between LSB & Cliff Hall - Pair of birds flurked from thuja near flagpole. 29 Mar Bancroft along 4th Field Lower Section - A singing ? bird in thuja just inside field. Also song from wall. Chased an English Sparrow who tried to land close to him. Then he immediately moved & quit singing. This is by pillars around Edwards plaque, Further & the other set of pillars - A pair of birds seen here. ? is singing from top of pillar Both birds flew into field. Inside Edwards Field, SE corner. Birds? alove still singing from pillar. Another feeding on ground. Some sort of a nest underway in a Madrone cannot tell what kind. Vorigin of bird ? above at SW cone of field. A singing ? on wall near NW corner, where wing comes way up over wall. Bancroft along 4th Field Outer Sec. - a ? gathering dead frames by panel 4. a S hyber, No 2, dropped, flew farther, joined another bird by panel 3. First ? next several places with material, finally either dropped it or deported it by loss of small bark by large dump of lilies, midway in panel 4. 2 April Bancrolane, opp. SE corner Admin Bldg. - Three eggs in this nest. ? flurked when I got very close. May be incubating. Bancroft along 4th Field Lower Sec. - Nest with 4 eggs. Along wall, opp. large thuja (inside) near upper end of sec. ? flurked from nest, & sang from thuja.
