W side of hill. 24 June #98. &ad 41.0gm nefat Testes 7mm. Very close to 93+94, probably the & # parent of that family. 99 & imm 39.6 gm. nefat W side of hill, maybe 100 yds. from 93,94,98. In Manganita 14 July #109 &ad ov to 51mm. Bloodpath. in mus.sp. Nefat. Under Manganita. 1957 22 April 1957 Garden, Men's Fac.Club, U.C. Campus, Berkeley Calif. Found nest by flushing &. Nest is a cup sunken into ground amid spreading branches of Berberis. Nest has 4 eggs, with light ground color heavily spotted with very fine rust brown spots, giving appearance of a light brown egg. Cup is 2 1/2 inches deep, 3 in. across. One egg may be hatching, or maybe & poked claw through it when she took off. 0745 No change at 1800hrs. 23 April Flushed & off nest again. Still 4 eggs. 25 April Same at 0630 today.
