Brevis Blackbird
2 Mar Edwards Field - two pair of birds.
One I gave wheezing note, at the
same time bowing his head, fanning his
tail and spreading his wings. He did
this several times. Occasionally the 2
would answer with a similar note,
but I did not see her action. Soon the 2
picked up 3 pieces of nesting material, one
long weed stem, one piece grass (?), one
fuzzy item and flew out N side of
Field, which would be along Fulton. The
other pair flew off a long ways, toward
Uptal Press (?) First 2 frightened by a
Calf. Jay flew over N wall toward
where the 3 had gone.
