Another part of pancreas in intestinal loopmass . This piece lies medial to duodenum + first part of pancreas - it is flat with a large part posteriorly , tapering into a narrow part at the end of the duodenum. Small intestine : At the end of the duodenum, the gut tube turns dorsal & extends on right side of body, posterior to right testis , to dorsal body wall. Here it comes posteriorly + medially, remaining dorsal to end of colon. At this point it is at mid-line. It then turn ventral, making a short loop, continuing turning in a vertical loop . From here it passes the end thru the loop and with a sharp angle passes back anterior , starting at midline . This loop from dorsal to right to ventral posterior to ventral ant. to dors-ant. to dors-post, where it goes then. It goes to the right.
