Banks (1957) Aphelocoma coerulescens 8. 29 April, 1957 23-20 Waste St. Berkeley Alameda C. Calif. times, and a few feathers blew away. The jay also had some feathers stuck to its bill. The small bird was dead from the beginning. I cannot say whether the jay killed it. There was another jay nearby, which flew in at the same time. It sat on electric wires, in front of the house.
