Heard a jay +raw hin in a pino on a good ways off. Screeked like a red sreech and a couple times and he came right to me, landed in a pino next to me. I shot it.
It was a 8, tertia 5 mm., adult by the wing patterning. I 226. This was the only jay Ned Johnson or I saw.
