21 Mar. S.W. entrance LSB - two or 3 birds flying in and out of old nests in niches above door. Making sounds as they approached nests, and while they were in them. Cannot describe the notes. Entered at least 3 different nests.

1958. 22 March- First birds of year arrived at LSB, Berkeley today.
