Antopus richardsoni 8 June 9mi E lat, 375+120, N of Mono waters, Mono Co., Calif. In rather bare dry area supporting an open growth of Jeffrey Pine, saw this bird flycatching. Used perches in several trees in a limited area. Sang, or at least called, occasionally. Could hear it call snapping as it flew. Shot it with 38 aux. First shot in new gun when aux. Saw no others in area, but there was a pair of chickadees (sp? ) in the same tree.
