Campus, Berkeley, Alameda Co., Calif. 318 October - Noticed a black phoebe outside the museum, N side, at NW corner of LS15, in the same area as one was seen much of last winter. This recalls that the chipping sounds of this bird have been heard for a week orso, but it never registered. It showed up today in the afternoon. 4 October - A few minutes before 4 PM, the bird appeared again. It was not here from 2:30-4 PM, It may have been here earlier - I was not in my room. 78 October - Bird present and feeding at 0910hrs. 9 October - Bird present at 1530 hrs, in rain.
