(Mar) Moraga, Contra Costa Co., Calif.
On 26 April Roy Richman brought me MV2
a horned owl found the previous day near
Moraga by Steve Verman. It was a DOR,
in good shape. I put up the skin on 27
April. Took 3 hrs. for entire job. It is
#184. It was Ø, testes 9mm. WT. 978gm.
No fat, stomach empty except for a
few small pieces of gravel. Saved the
eyes in alcohol. Richman took the
ectoparasites from this bird.
