Barke 1957 Falco sparvarius Predmont S of E, Entrance to Campus, Berkeley alonea ca. celf. A pair of sparrow hawks here, in area between campus entrance+ first bldgs. S, W. side of Predmont. Both were active in one Eucalyptus tree. Both were calling, while flying and perched. One flew SW to another Eucalyptus tree, the other flew E, to a pole in stadium theater area. The one Eucalyptus tree is broken off at top, with some sort of cavity in the snag, -- ting Both were at this general part of the tree. I had heard one of these birds while I was in Cornell Hospital Feb. 27 - Mar. 2.
