seem to be mostly Ring-billed and California Gulls.
Seagullness & dissipation prevailed for the remainder
of this trip. Briefly however, the following were positively
identified today. Fulmar - almost all in dark phase,
Palefooted Shearwaters abundant 2 or 3? Pink-footed
Shearwater abundant, Stoty shearwater very abundant,
Black Petrel & Ashy petrels abundant; reports of Leach
Petrel seen, not verified by me, Rhumaceros auklet, Cassin
auklet both common, Murre less common; Bonaparte Gull
uncommon, Herring & Western Gulls Common, Several
Scaups seen, Pomarine & Parasitic for sure.
Very few Cormorants seen all entire day. Red Phalaropes
were very abundant. A Skua was seen from afar but
fairly definitely. A good concentration of Leids was
hit [illegible] towards the Santa Cruz side where good concentration
of most species were seen.
