June 1 last night I set out a line of 42 traps east of Camp 3 that there were on the north slope about an hour's walk west of the creek. It was no good, however, and I killed off all on the hillside I could. "I thought I had it" ♀ "I thought I had it" ♀ "I thought I had it" ♂ In the traps on the low bottom land: ♀ (Musca) ♀ Huba (Muscina) There were the residents of these places but no flies. On returning from my steel trap trip, I found more species accounts. It was on a much larger scale than usual, and I collected the ♀ (Musca) which had been preserved for me at two days ago.
