Lee Arnold 1937 Sorex palustris Hendry Creek, 9,100 ft, 1½ mi. E Mt. Morris, White Pine Co., Nevada June 20, Adult breeding ♂ caught within 3 inches of the water on the gravel edge of the Creek. Apparently the shrew jumped on the trap rather than attempting to eat the bacon or rolled oats. June 21, Adult breeding ♂ caught along creek about 50 feet north of that on June 20. June 22, Adult ♀ caught about a foot from the Creek where she apparently jumped from a low log onto the trap.
