I might also add at this point that
the presence of rocky outcroppings and
talus slopes offer another habitat. In
this I have only found signs of
Porcupine, Hedoma and Peramurus.
The birds seen in this area have been:
Tunços — several nests seen
P's Flickers — nest hole sighted
Western Tanager
Black-chinned Hummingbird
White-throated Swift
Violet-green Swallow
Tree swallow
Hairy Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
“Olive-backed Thrush (sp?)
Western Robin
Spotted Towhee
Lawrence Goldfinch
