1.5 mi. SE La Selva Beach, Santa Cruz Co., Calif.
1 sub-adult collected under large log 6' x 6". Soil
sandy + relatively moist. Log very close to base of
an old Willow tree + is well shaded by the tree. Temp
under log: 16.2°C. Frogfoot, small Coral snake + ? Hyla
tegule under some log. No other salamander
seen here despite thorough search.
