J. Anderson 1956 Ambystoma immaculatum crucinum 28 Mar. 16 Valencia lagoon, Rio del Mar, Santa Cruz Co., Calif. obtained by sweeping the net along the bottom, without digging into the litter on the bottom in water from 5"- 8" deep + in the vicinity of a clump of (Juncus?) barren vegetation (but not in the clump). As a rule more were taken where Hyla. was most abundant (shallower water). Water temp. 54° F. Air temp. 65° F. The sun was shining brightly. This end of lagoon is also best lighted.
