Dec 27. Valencia Canyon, Rio del Mar, Santa Cruz Is., Calif.
Worked willow areas + oak woods during early afternoon but was unable to connect on croceum.
Walked Bonta Rd + Hill fld between 6:15 pm &
8:05 pm with Coleman lantern. Dark night, but
clear. Moon (full) rose about 7:20 pm. Rained
the previous night. Many puddles or roads.
Got just 1 croceum at 7:15 pm on hill
road where it takes sharp turn. Cl. temp 9.2,
